I previously mentioned how I would be performing in a flash mob on Saturday. For those who do not know what a flash mob is, this Flash Mob to Sound of Music is a perfect example. Ours went swimmingly without a hitch. It was so much fun and full of adrenaline. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. Here are some pictures taken by a random bystander that I happened to find. By some luck the section Shayla, Kelly and I were in was filmed and photographed an unusual amount compared to the rest of the very large flash mob. I am wearing a bright yellow scarf with a grey jacket and my hair down if that helps people identify me! The song was Mr. Blue Sky by ELO (love you Patrick!). I knew I had to do it when I found out a flash mob was a) in Cork B) on St. Patrick's Street and c) to one of Patrick's favorite songs of all time.
That video is the one on Kelly's camera that Claire took and you can't really see me very well except for towards the end of it. There are many different versions of the mob on Youtube if you put in some combination of Cork and flash mob and Mr. Blue Sky. Some of them are better than others.
This video shows me some as well. All of the others except for the REDFM (which shows the extent of the flash mob rather than any individuals) seem to show glimpses of me or at least flashes if you are quick to spot. I'm not going to post them all since you will most likely get sick of Mr. Blue Sky but check them out if you want. Comment if you can find me!
Article about the mob in the Irish Examiner!
You know you love me.
