A Day in the Life- Sunday

Sunday in Pictures

I leave my apartment to meet Shayla for grocery shopping. The pictures get prettier than this I promise. PS These pictures are actually false and not fully Sunday since we did this photoshoot on Saturday but it is what our typical Sunday is without mass and such.

My walk to Shayla's apartment. I prefer to take the back way since it's along the river and it's much faster.

Archery club? We passed by these enterprising young athletes on campus while we walked into town. Shayla and I were tempted to join but thought better of it since we had no idea what it was.

The real photoshoot begins! Posing contemplatively on the bridge into campus.

Far Away Shot in order to encompass the beauty.

Shayla! Thanks so much for being willing to goof off with me and take my picture.

View from the bridge on the other side towards our apartments.

Pointing more towards campus and Shayla's and I's future house.

I'm so excited to be going home to our future house as if I come back to it everyday!

Unfortunately, this house is really an administrative office (?!?) so I only pretended to knock.

The Garnish House where most of the girls' parents are staying. Famous for its' breakfast which is why Shayla and I are going to attempt getting a free one on Monday like Mary did when she told them how her mother was staying there soon.

~Our favorite pub~ and Cafe Depeche where Mary works

The street we walk past all the time wondering if it's Diagon Alley and plan to go down it soon

The courthouse where people randomly Skype on their computers and ride their skateboards

The Wash-- always very crowded, so crowded that we left one night early only to find out that the Cork football team came in later that same evening

My favorite Centra (a kind of convenience store) because of its' amazing bakery with chocolate torsades aka twists

Finally, Shayla and I make it to TESCO!!!!

You know you love me.
XOXO, Gaelic Girl

  1. I took the photo walk with you and it was great!! A fairyland with bridges and quaint houses and strange looking buildings!! You definitely are not in Texas!!! It is amazing there and we are coming to visit you and staying at the Garnish house - so you and Shayla go ask for your free breakfast. Can't wait for your next adventure. The day in the life of the Gaelic Girl makes me smile!
